Another quick and short update from me.
Finally gotten the apartment in macau on wednesday. it is huge! way bigger than my apartment in singapore.
i was suprised by the size of it. one sad thing to note is that i did not get the master bedroom. its huge too!
it is the size of the hongkong apartment’s living room. on another hand, my room is not that bad as well. at least i have
my own attached bathroom/toilet, a view of the busy street below, the macau stadium and also some bright hot sun(i can open my curtain, lie on bed and get some tan).
besides that, things are still pretty sketchy. mobile line still not ready, work permit not ready, pay not given yet…blah blah blah…
that is all for now. pictures will have to wait.

Landed around 5.20pm yesterday. Took a cab to the office to collect the key to the apartment. Had Mos Burger, and slept. Tiring first day.
went to work today. being so totally new, i just sat there watching my colleagues work. i am wondering if i can ever cope.
all they use is cantonese to troubleshoot. my cantonese is half past six. colleagues are pretty friendly people and seemed like
a crazy bunch. went and had lunch with them today and they were decent enough to bring me around and help me order food.
all the menus are in MANDARIN! i read no mandarin!!! then had a welcoming dinner with 2 of my colleagues just now.
well, that is all for today. still very tired.

This will be the last post that will be written in Singapore.
Shucks, now I am feeling sad and a little reluctant to leave.
and I will definitely be missing the life I have here and all the people that I know.
I am gonna be oh so lonely over there too.
Nothing much to say but thanks for all the great times, guys!
See you soon!

hello, this is me at an amazing early time. i have just ended my packing for the day.
lesson learned. never try to get a job that requires you to move to another city much less, country.
also, try not to buy too much stuff, especially if you do not own a home of your own. packing would be less of a hassle.
good thing bout this time though, is that i have unloaded(thrown) a lot of stuff.
now, i just need to keep my belongings to the minimum and that would ease my next move.
a lot of friends were suprised with my sudden move to leave Singapore.
i guess it is natural for them to feel that way. after all, i have never displayed any signs of
displeasure or a hint of wanting to leave. after all, i have been here for 8 to 9 years. that is
a very long time.
i would like to declare here and now, that i am a being that cannot sit still in one place.
you cannot blame me, i am a monkey. monkeys are not meant to just sit still in one place
they have to swing from tree to tree.
i am gonna be quite broke for the month of september and october. hopefully things pick up by november.
wish me luck!

I have just gotten quotes to move my things back to Malaysia.
You would be suprised at the price that they quoted just to move things from a tiny little room.
It ranged between $900-$1200. My jaws dropped when I saw those numbers.
Way way over what I had in mind. Called up another mover and managed to get them to move my stuff for me
at $300. Still quite a lot of money but that was the amount I came up with in my mind as well. So there is not much to complain
about.
Now, to wait for the boxes to arrive so that I can start packing up. They are suppose to be coming either tomorrow or on Thursday. If the boxes arrives on Thursday, it would mean no packing would be done. Since I am heading home to meet up with my parents to head up to KL for my youngest brother’s graduation ceremony.
Talk about whole load of things to do. I still have to get my PR status renewed. I hate going through this. Heading to government agencies to get things done. So much paper work to prepare. I am not even sure if what I have in hand is what is really needed. Gonna make a trip down tomorrow and hope things can be done. That would put my mind at ease. Gotten my taxes cleared, so PR renewal and moving are the only things weighing on my tiny little brain.
Moving, PR renewal, new wardrobe for Macau’s impending cold weather is draining my not too big bank account. Luckily I do not have to pay for my accomodation there or else I would be done for. Maximum Output before there is any Input. Have mercy on me! I forsee that my finances would be back to normal by December, granted that there is no unforseen expenditure.
There is the gathering of friends before I leave that I would love to do but looking at how things are going, it might not be possible to accomplish at all. Sorry in advance to my lovely little friends. I will make it up to those whom I did not manage to meet. I bet most of you guys would prefer to meet me next time too since I am too poor to be giving any treats and partying.
I will keep you guys updated once I have settled down, gotten my address and new cell number.
Come find me after December!
