CHDK

photography No Comments

These shots are taken using my Canon S5 iS with the help of a camera hack tool called CHDK.
i’m still very new to it and there’s quite a few other options/functions to play around with.it’s kinda cool,so try it out if you are an owner of Canon cameras, but do check to see if your camera is supported or not first.

these are very amateurish shots.. but hey, this is my first try.

GorillaPod, Ain’t this a cool tool? Beats bringing along a heavy tripod out with you all the time. I’m going to get one as soon as I get back in Singapore. (not enough cash with me in KL, else I might just get it here).

I’m too lazy to attach a photo of it, but follow the yellow brick road. Look at the various ways it can be use here.

Saw this amazing tool when I was browsing a book on Macro photography. The book got me very interested in doing macro photography.

Ever since I found out how to do macro shots, it has always been my favourite. Well, I’m gonna snap  snap snap.!!!

Shh…Don’t tell Mulder I’m still here!

Macau, life, photography 3 Comments

well, today will be my last day in macau. i am definitely going to miss my room, my bed, my space, the big apartment and last but not least, the most important of all, my privacy.

took some shots from my room and balcony again. these are the shots that i like.

pardon me for my amateur-ish skills. that is all from macau. look forward to me in hongkong.

Doggies eating eggtarts going to church for cinemas

Macau, photography No Comments

finally gotten to time to meet up with my friend in macau.
since it was a cold day, we had steam boat for dinner with her 2 other friends on saturday night.

met up with them again on sunday and headed to a doggie event organised by MAWA(Macau
Animal Welfare Association). saw plenty of cute looking as well as huge and intimidating canines there. seems like people nowadays prefer to keep pet dogs more.
i did not see much huge dogs over there. most small little dogs that “tai tais” or girls like to keep.

had some eggtarts after that. i was so happy to have eggtarts that i forgot to snap some pictures.
actually i never had the habit of taking pictures of my food too.

went on to the ruins of st. paul. snapped some shots from The Ruins of St. Paul Church as well. we can see what was left of the entrance to the church, some skeletal remains of somebody important(i presume),some items and paintings being displayed in there. i intend to go back there again on my own later to snap more pictures.

after that we went to watch Resident Evil 3 at one of the very few cinemas in macau. it reminds me of the cinemas that i used to go to in Kluang,my hometown with the exception of it being larger and clean.
it gives me the feeling of those late 80’s, early 90’s kind of cinema. too bad i am not allowed to take pictures in there.

Click to view pictures. there are quite a lot of them, beware if you are on slow connection.
